The Innsbrook Shoppes are getting a facelift. Innsbrook Today Magazine reports that the center is receiving a remodel that will total more than $300,000. The work, which includes new awnings and a new coat of paint and lighting fixtures, is now underway.

Several years ago, the shopping center, built in the late 1980s, was painted in a full spectrum of colors to freshen its appearance, a decision that has now been reversed.

“It was time to upgrade to a more modern look to position the shopping center as a dining and entertainment destination,” said center owner and original Innsbrook developer Sidney Gunst.

“The renovation is in keeping with the quality and standards of Innsbrook while at the same time being able to offer the best location for retail at one of the most competitive lease rates to our customers.

Remodeling should be complete by the end of the summer.
