1. Kids Day in the Garden

Saturday, January 22

Stop by the Great Big Greenhouse for fun, games and FREE garden activities! All day activities include terrarium making and a safari hunt. Meet PBS Kid’s Clifford the Big Red Dog, learn about Chesterfield County’s Anti-Litter program from Ms. Clara Belle Cleanup and her friendsAdopt a pet and visit furry friends in the SPCA’s “Tail Wag’n Vehicle.” Richmond Audubon Society will have fun, educational activities as well.

2. Comedic Hypnotist

Dr. Larry Volz is a comedic stage hypnotist and mentalist who has been entertaining crowds for over 20 years. He has won international awards for both his on-stage mysteries and his hypnosis show.

3. American Family Fitness & BARK

Saturday, January 22

Come to AFF Short Pump and shop for a good cause – K9 Adoption and animal rescue through BARK. AmFam will be accepting used donations including collars, leashes, blankets and of course, cash. Learn more about BARK or ask the front desk for more details. Barkazaar participants will be entered into a drawing to win prizes. And look for a display coming soon where you can add a photo of your favorite furry friend.

4. The Sailor Bob Story – A Documentary Tribute

Join the VGO Productions team as they pay tribute to one of Virginia’smost beloved television icons, Sailor Bob, in the documentary “TheSailor Bob Story – A Documentary Tribute.” This 90 minute program, filled with archival photos and footage from the era, willtake a nostalgic look at Sailor Bob, a.k.a. Bob Griggs, and thelasting impact he had on the children and adults of Virginia.

5. The Contours

The Contours perform with the Richmond Symphony under the leadership of original member Sylvester Potts. Their hit “Do You Love Me” was featured in the film “Dirty Dancing.” Packed with dazzling choreography, impeccable harmonies and timeless Motown grooves, it’ll be an evening to remember.
