Yesterday’s shooting was unfortunately the second such incident in the South Eastern area of Richmond this holiday week. Monday, November 22, 2010 brought a shooting that is now being investigated as a homicide. Richmond police are investigating the death of Richard Herman Church, 52, who was found dead inside his home in the 100 block of East 21st Street, police said in a news release. Police said they responded to a call at 10:00pm. They believe Church died due to an argument with a known person, and that the state medical examiner’s office will determine the cause of death.
