Arrest Made In Short Pump Town Center Bank Robbery Case

The suspect in a robbery Monday at the Short Pump Town Center BB&T bank was apprehended Wednesday. Henrico County investigators, with the assistance of Richmond City Police, arrested 26-year-old Joshua P. Dunkelberger around 3:30 p.m. at the Greyhound Bus Station on Boulevard.

“Based on quick media distribution of the information, Henrico County Police received numerous Crime Stopper tips identifying Dunkelberger as the suspect,” Henrico Police Lieutenant Eric Owens said.

Information received advised police that Dunkelberger would be on a Greyhound Bus heading to Florida, scheduled to depart at 3:35 pm.

Police arrived to find Dunkelberger on the bus where he surrendered without incident.
