Zed Cafe is getting plenty of praise — in print and online — these days. In Vino Veritas, a local weblog focused on Richmond restaurants, recently took a trip to North Richmond’s organic dining destination and found it worthy of praise:
As we were licking the last possible morsels of each of of these appetizers off of the plates, we were presented with white anchovies, lemon kale and blue cheese. Unbelievable! Ridiculously good! Amazing! The flavors so robust! The lemon kale complimented the blue cheese which in turn proved to be an excellent backdrop to the white anchovy. Unbelievable! Ridiculously good! Amazing! If there was a rooftop, I would be screaming from it.
