Benedictine wins state championship

The Benedictine men’s basketball team won the Virginia Independent Schools Div I championship for the second straight year. The Cadets crushed Bishop O’Connell 67-46. Benedictine had two players on the all-tournament team, and a third, Ed Davis, too MVP honors. Davis is headed to North Carolina to play for the Tar Heels next year. Source: RTD
