A Henrico County man is behind bars following an incident in which he allegedly took upskirt photos of a 10-year-old at a store in the Short Pump Village shopping center with his cell phone. The girl was shopping with her grandmother at a store in the shopping center, which Henrico Police would not identify, when the incident occurred.

Rivers was allegedly caught on a store surveillance camera in the same shopping center as the Short Pump Walmart taking photos multiple times and the May 2nd event was also witnessed by a nearby employee.

Police say Rivers admitted to the crime, which is a Class 6 felony, when interviewed by authorities. He remains behind bars with an August 23 court date.

No other incidents could be proven because no other victims have yet come forward. If you have any information on this case or were victimized, contact Henrico Police Investigator Elizabeth Wright at 501-4143.
