Tiffany Glass Ferreira emailed us last week with a strange/hilarious request.

In order to do so promo work for Guerrilla Visibility, her upcoming teen class at VMFA, Tiffany had plans to film her husband as he walked around the museum… dressed as a gorilla. She wanted to know if it would be ok for her husband to wear one of our shirts during his antics. We didn’t hesitate because OBVIOUSLY the best accessory to wear when dressed as a gorilla is an RVANews T-shirt.

Here’s the video, for your enjoyment. It makes me giggle.

If you’re interested in enrolling your teen in Tiffany’s class, here’s what to expect.

Student artists will use social media tools to share their work with thousands of viewers. We’ll create a exhibition geocache in Paradise Park (a pocket park in the fan), print and publish a mini-zine, post Real Small Art in Carytown and explore online portals for independent exhibitions.

The class if for students grades 6 through 12. Times and dates are July 26 through 30 from 9am to noon, and August 16 through 20 from 1pm to 4pm.

The $135 fee ($125 for VMFA members) includes all materials. Registration is required and can completed by calling 804-340-1405 or by visiting the ticket desk, Monday through Friday, 8:45am to 4:30pm.
