I finally made it over to 3325 West Café yesterday. I could not motivate myself to make it over there. It looked like a fine enough place. Really, you can’t ask for a better dining al fresco spot in Carytown. I think it was the menu that kept me from just going there on my own. Well, yesterday I had a business lunch and so I thought that was a good enough excuse to finally try it.

We arrived at 12:05 and to my surprise, there was still available seating on the porch. It was a perfect afternoon and when the waitress sold me on the limeade I could not have been happier. I looked at the menu and was quickly reminded why I had not been there yet.

Then menu was mostly rabbit food. It seemed to be a lot of salads and a lot of wraps. They did have a couple deli sandwiches and pizzas. I had decided to try to eat healthy so I had the Mediterranean wrap which consisted of hummus, tabouli and other salad stuff.

For being rabbit food, it was tasty. Everything appeared and tasted fresh. It was really everything that I had hoped it would be. It just happens to be food I choose to eat when I go out.

It’s a restaurant that makes sense for many people, it just doesn’t happen to hit my sweet spot. Next time I go there, I will try there pizza and I may have to change last statement. So if wraps and salads are your thing, make a point to head on over to 3325 West Café and give them some business. If not, hopefully they deli sandwiches or pizzas can do it for you.
