Along with the expansion and the money spent and the glamor and all that wonderful stuff, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts expects to help generate a good bit of revenue. In the report by Rachel DePompa at NBC 12….

According to an economic impact study the museum could see, 450,000 visitors a year and could generate $500,000 in local sales tax revenues. Visitors to the museum and its expanded operations are expected to generate $36 million annually around the state.
