Wednesday is the final official market of the 2009 season. Plenty of produce and baked goods to compliment the Thanksgiving feast. Lakeside Farmers’ Market, located at 6110 Lakeside Ave., in the parking lot at Lakeside Towne Center beside CVS (one block south of Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden). Seasonal Farmers’ Market offering local produce, meats, cheeses and baked goods. Crafts, antiques, housewares and dining located nearby in the shops in Lakeside Towne Center, Hub Shopping Center and along Lakeside Ave. Market hours this Wednesday are until dark. Visit the following vendors this Wednesday: Community Produce, Kruize Farms, Pleasant Fields Farm and others.
Construction is underway for the new pavilion at Lakeside Farmers’ Market. This week, they will be setting the 20’ post in the ground and supporting them with concrete. Come out and watch the progress and pick up some fresh produce at the same time.
