Henrico Police are investigating an early morning accident that claimed the life of a motorcyclist. The victim, Steven Duff, crashed into a dumpster behind a Chevron station Thursday morning. The accident occured on Three Chopt Road at its intersection with Pemberton.
Police were called to the scene by a passerby at 7:00 a.m. Preliminary investigation revealed that Duff was southbound on Pemberton Road and lost control of his motorcycle, a 2006 Harley Davidson soft-tail, as he crossed the intersection.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
