A local law enforcement official is in trouble with the law himself. Henrico County Police officer J.L. Crain was charged with driving under the influence after rear ending another vehicle early Sunday morning. Crain was driving his personal vehicle at the time.

The officer was off duty at the time. The incident occurred on Interstate 64 near the Gaskins Road exit. There’s no word on the state of Crain’s employment as the investigation continues.
