Highlights

  • The Commercial Robbery: occurred on 6-24-09, at Ben & Jerry’s, 2901 W. Cary St. at 10:43 PM. Suspect is a W/M 40-50 years of age, about 5`-7”, 130 lbs. He had a dark colored with gray close cut hair, a “couple of days growth of gray beard,” and was wearing a black “zipper” hoodie, baggy camo pants and gray tennis shoes. The suspect waited until he walked into the business to pull a nylon stocking over his face.
  • Robbery of an individual: In Museum District: occurred 6-21-09 at approx 10:15 PM. Suspect struggled with victim over her purse, ARREST MADE
  • Residential Burglary: Occurred between 6-1 & 6-2-09, in the 3200 blk of Kensington Ave. The house is unoccupied and under construction. The construction crew’s tools that were left in the basement and on the first floor, were stolen. No known suspect(s) at this time. Investigation is ongoing.

  • 11 thefts from vehicles
  • 5 motor vehicle thefts, including 4 in Carytown
  • 9 thefts from buildings (4 more than last year)
