What do cosmetics, flip flops and entrees have in common? They’re all free this weekend. There’s free stuff being given out at establishments all around Short Pump, including T.G.I. Friday’s, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and the new Ulta Beauty store that’s opening on Friday. Here’s a rundown of the deals to be had.

Ladies, the new Ulta Beauty Store at Short Pump Station (adjacent to Trader Joe’s) opens Friday and is offering free products and services all weekend. The store will hand out gift cards to the first 100 guests with values of $5 to $100. There will also be free makeovers, face-mapping and other beauty consultations.

Looking for a free, refreshing treat? Tropical Smoothie Cafe is giving away free “Jetty Punch” flavor smoothies to the first 500 customers wearing flip flops on Friday in celebration of National Flip Flop Day. While the smoothies are free, the company is asking for donations in support of Camp Sunshine, a retreat for children with life-threatening diseases and their families. More information can be found on the National Flip Flop Day website. There are two Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations in the Short Pump area. You can find them at the Parc Place Shops at Short Pump Town Center and the Town Center at Twin Hickory on Nuckols Road.

T.G.I. Friday’s is offering a special buy-one-get-one-free entree deal. The coupon, which can be downloaded on the T.G.I. Friday’s website, can be used an unlimited number of times until Tuesday, June 22. It can be used any time of the day, and only one can be used per party. T.G.I. Friday’s is located in the Downtown Short Pump shopping center at Broad and Pouncey Tract.
