Woman Arrested In Connection With Fatal Scooter Crash

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – A Colonial Heights woman has been arrested and charged in connection with a two-vehicle crash that killed motor scooter driver Frederick S. Wall, 46, and critically injured his passenger in the 11200 block of Jefferson Davis Highway on June 13. Megan L. Brown, 24, of the 1200 block of Duke of Gloucester Street, was traveling south in the northbound lane of Jefferson Davis Highway and struck Wall’s 2006 Qingi motor scooter. Brown is charged with involuntary manslaughter and maiming as a result of driving while intoxicated. She has been released on bond pending an upcoming hearing in Chesterfield County General District Court.
