14 Men Arrested In Undercover Prostitution Operation
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Fourteen men have been arrested as a result of a two-day undercover operation that targeted solicitation for prostitution between June 4 and 5. Female police officers posed as prostitutes along the Jefferson Davis Highway corridor. The decoys were approached by men who requested sex in exchange for money. Once the men made the request, they were taken into custody by nearby undercover officers. Those arrested range from 23-74 years old. They were charged with soliciting for prostitution and the use of a vehicle while soliciting for prostitution. If convicted of soliciting for prostitution, suspects are required by state law to submit to an HIV test and must participate in counseling about HIV and its transmission.
