Guiding Good Choices Is Topic Of Parenting Course

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Prevention Services will offer the Guiding Good Choices course for parents of middle schoolers starting June 30. The course will teach parents how to strengthen family bonds, set clear family positions on drugs, teach children skills they need to make healthy choices, and increase children’s involvement in the family. Classes will be held weekly, 6:30-8 p.m., through July 28 at Midlothian Library, 521 Coalfield Road. All classes will be Tuesdays, with the exception of one class Monday, July 13. The fee is $50, and fee assistance is available. The course is being offered in partnership with Substance Abuse Free Environment Inc., or SAFE.
