This free family event will be held on May 16th from 11am to 5pm in historic, charming Old Towne Petersburg. Start at the Visitor Center, 425 Cockade Alley, where you can grab a free goodie bag and event list. Bring your (leashed) canine buddy and enjoy pet-friendly shopping at the Farmers Market and various sidewalk sales. Events include a dog contest w/prizes, face painting, local students’ art display, and more. Family Dog Digest will be giving away freebies and taking photos. Bring a pet food donation to benefit the SPCA. There will be pets available for adoption in town too.
