Spring Lecture Series Continues In May

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – The Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia, will host two lectures in May as part of the Celebrate Chesterfield Spring Lecture Series. Both lectures will take place at the Central Library meeting room, 9501 Lori Road. Admission is free, but reservations are encouraged. To reserve a seat, call (804) 796-7003. Women served in various roles as nurses, spies and soldiers, and were vital to the war effort. Learn about some of the more famous women who served and the impacts they made.
