10th Annual Triad Senior Day Set For May 6
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield TRIAD’s 10th Annual Senior Day will be Wednesday, May 6, 7:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m., at Victory Tabernacle Church, 11700 Genito Road. This year’s theme is “No Use for Elder Abuse.” Senior Day is an opportunity for older adults and caregivers to learn about opportunities and services to make seniors’ lives safer, more enjoyable and more active. More than 70 businesses and nonprofit agencies will provide informational booths during the event. There also will be door prizes, light breakfast and musical entertainment by The Virginians, a singing group. Senior Day is free to attend. TRIAD is a statewide network of public-safety and older-adult organizations that works to enhance the quality of life for and reduce crime against senior citizens.
