Speed limit to drop on Riverside and might drop on Semmes
Slow down.
Last night City Council took a look at two of our busiest raceways and decide that enough was enough on at least one. Speed limits were reduced on Riverside Drive to 25 mph. A similar ordinance for Semmes Avenue was amended to reduce speeds to 30 mph (instead of 25 mph), and was continued–but that speed reduction looks like it’s heading toward reality.
