National Healthcare Decisions Day Program Is April 16

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – The Chesterfield County Senior Advocate’s Office is joining area agencies and businesses to recognize April 16 as National Healthcare Decisions Day. The purpose of the day is to encourage people to have thoughtful conversations about their health care and end-of-life decisions, and to complete reliable advance directives to make their wishes known. The Senior Advocate’s Office will present a program titled Advance Directives/Five Wishes on April 16, 9:30-11 a.m., at LaPrade Library, 9000 Hull Street Road. The program will provide free information about advance-care planning, including topics such as living wills and health care power of attorney.
