Fan street cleaning and leaf collection moved up to this week

Message from the Fan District Association:

Please be aware that the City is going to conduct street cleaning and leaf collection in the Fan THIS WEEK, December 7-11. This is a week earlier than the City’s published schedule and is being done at the joint request of the Fan District Association and the Museum District Association so that the neighborhood looks great for the Fan District Holiday House Tour. If you know anyone who might have missed the signs going up, are out of town, or for some other reason might be unaware, please try to alert them.

And we also hope that you will tell everyone you know about the Holiday House Tour. December 12-13, 1-6 PM each day. All details at www.fandistrict.org. Besides getting to see a bunch of cool houses, you’re also supporting giving back to the community because the ticket sales support the FDA Grants Program. Last year, we gave away $25,000 to local community organizations, the local PTA’s, and the neighborhood parks. We are lucky to be able to have such a great way to do a fundraiser, so please come out and support it.
