Growlers To Go adding second location in Short Pump

The new, larger location comes just three months after the retailer’s first location opened on the Boulevard.

From the Richmond Times-Dispatch:

Less than three months after opening the first Growlers to Go store, owner Reid Carter is close to signing a lease on space for a second location.

Carter said Monday he hopes to sign the lease soon and is aiming for a mid-May opening of the location for his beer business at 11341 W. Broad St. — close to the Trader Joe’s grocery store — in the Short Pump Station shopping center.

“Our target is May 10, Mother’s Day,” Carter said.

The new location will be a bit bigger and have even more taps than the original location on the Boulevard, which has had strong foot traffic and sales thus far.

The RTD also has details on other possible future locations around town, as well as additional offerings Carter plans to introduce.
