$20 million age-restricted community coming to Gayton Road

Developers plan to break ground on the new project this summer.

A major new senior living facility is in the works for Short Pump. Manorhouse Assisted Living, a company that operates several senior developments, is set to break ground on the project this summer.

Manor house North Gayton will be located at 13500 North Gayton Road, near the Fox Hall planned community.

Richmond BizSense reports the $20 million project will include nine age-restricted homes, senior living cottages, and a 90-unit assisted living building.

As the country’s population ages and folks live longer, you can expect to see more and more age-restricted developments of this kind.
