Popular Short Pump women’s clothing boutique moving to Huguenot Road

Monkees of Richmond will move to a larger location in the River Road II Shopping Center in February.

A popular, well-known Short Pump women’s clothing boutique is bursting at the seams and in need of a bigger location.

Monkee’s of Richmond announced it will be relocating to the River Road II Shopping Center in February. A favorite among Richmond shoppers since 2010, the new store will continue to offer all the upscale ladies’ shoes, clothing and accessories for which the store is known.

Currently located in The Shoppes at Westgate at West Broad Street and Lauderdale Drive, Monkee’s of Richmond will celebrate the grand opening at 5003 Huguenot Road in February 2015.

Owner Lynne Butz says she is excited to reveal the new location to her customers.

“We are fortunate enough to have a solid customer base throughout Virginia,” Butz said in a statement. “The new store will be absolutely beautiful and better than ever, with an expanded shoe boutique and much needed space for more clothing and accessories.”
