Woman injured in hit and run near Forest Hill Park

Incident occurred around around 2:00 AM Thursday.

CBS6 has the details on a mother who was struck by a car on the 4000 block of Forest Hill Avenue as she exited her car around 2:00 AM on Thursday morning. After the incident the car fled the scene.

Richmond Police have not released a description of the vehicle.

Neighbors heard the woman’s child scream that her mom had been hit. Those neighbors called 911.

The woman was taken to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The child was not hurt.
