Elderchats Presentation Is Feb. 26

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – As the elderly population continues to grow, more seniors face challenges associated with the aging process. Seniors and their adult children must discuss important issues that affect them, including health care, housing, transportation and end-of-life decisions. The Elderchats program is a conceptual model to facilitate effective communication between adult children and their elderly parents. A presentation about Elderchats is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 26, 9-10 a.m., at the Lucy Corr Village multipurpose room, 6800 Lucy Corr Blvd. The presenter will be Fred Geiger with Senior Connections, the Capital Area Agency on Aging.
