WRIR wants to build Studio C: The Community’s Studio

A new studio means more live music coming to you over the radio.

WRIR 97.3 FM is Richmond’s only low frequency independent radio station and they do a great job of brining bands into the studio for live performances. The station is now trying to step up studio game by raising funds for Studio C: The Community’s Studio.

Right now they only have two spaces for all their work and that work takes place 24 hours a day. As you’d expect sometimes booking space for musicians is a problem but that problem would be partially solved with another studio space. Now’s your chance to support local radio with just a little cash donation.

The goal is $7,000 and as always there are perks for donating but the real reward will be the sweet, sweet sounds coming to you from your speakers.

WRIR 97.3FM Richmond VA’s independent radio station needs your help to fund a new broadcast studio! from WRIR Radio on Vimeo.
