Deadline for Forest Hill Neighborhood Scholarship approaching fast

Recent grads have until July 15th to get their application in.

Do you know a young person in the neighborhood who graduated from high school this year? The Forest Hill Neighborhood Association will accept applications for the FHNA Community Service Scholarship until July 15, 2014.

The Forest Hill Neighborhood Association Community Service Scholarship is an annual scholarship of $500 awarded to a graduating senior who lives in the Forest Hill neighborhood and who plans to attend college or other post-secondary institution. The selection process is based on 1) an application, 2) original answers to essay questions including details and documentation of service to the community, 3) a letter of reference from a non-relative who knows the applicant and knows about his or her service to the community, and 4) a copy of a letter of acceptance from the college the applicant plans to attend. Once awarded, the scholarship may be used for any college-related necessities.
