Auditions for Nathan Trice Dance Theater Summer Intensive Project

Nathan Trice is based in New York but the Project will be here in Richmond.

VCU Dance is holding an audition for the Nathan Trice Dance Theater Summer Intensive Project on Saturday, February 22, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the VCU Department Of Dance & Choreography Dance Center (10 N. Brunswick Street).

Our Summer Intensive Project offers daily technique classes with Nathan Trice and company members, daily yoga class, weekly nutritional guidance with Rebecca Dietzel, and visiting guest artist dialogues on the role of dance today and critical thinking with artistic directors Donald Byrd and Gus Solomons jr. Over the course of the three-weeks we will offer repertory workshops led by Trice and company members in which students will have the opportunity to participate as collaborators. At the completion of the Summer Intensive Project, students will share with family, friends and community what has transpired over the duration of the three weeks with a weekend performance. The nathantrice/RITUALS Summer Intensive Project is a place where individuals explore alternative yet practical information as a means to develop ones ability to create within any environment.
