Pedestrian Killed On Jefferson Davis Highway

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating a crash that involved a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle in the 16400 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at about 7:46 p.m. yesterday. Police said a 1995 Honda Civic sedan was traveling north on Jefferson Davis Highway when the driver struck a pedestrian walking in the roadway. The pedestrian, Frank T. White Jr., 43, of Petersburg, died at the scene. The driver suffered minor injuries. Police continue their investigation into this crash.
