In the 90’s, Richmond native Mary Andrews was busy crafting unique pieces of jewelry. While in New York she became one of the first adopters of Etsy with her shop Contrary Jewelry and in short order became one of the first cadre of employees. Fast forward to 2013 and she lives in the Fan, got married, adopted a dog, contributes to local blog 17 Apart with the previously mentioned husband and dog, oh and has sold nearly 7,000 pieces of jewelry.
