Neighbors are opening their doors for friends and strangers alike. The Fan District Association’s 2013 Holiday House Tour will take place on December 7th and 8th, 2013, from 1 to 6 PM each day. Details including pictures on the stunning houses toured can be found here. Tickets will run you $25 if you buy them before close of business today (ticket purchase locations) or $30 the day of the tour.
After checking out some houses you can get yourself checked out at HCA Virginia’s Retreat Doctors’ Hospital (2621 Grove Ave.) The hospital is holding a holiday open house and screening event as part of the 51st annual Fan Holiday House Tour.
Saturday, Dec. 7 from 1-5 p.m. you can get screenings for blood pressure, body mass index, cholesterol, blood sugar and Dermascan with professional results consultations. Flu vaccines will be available and refreshments. You can also pickup your House Tour Tickets.
Sunday Dec. 8 from 1-6 p.m. there will only be ticket sales and refreshments.
