City’s 2013 leaf collection schedule

As Bob Dylan (never) once said: “The leaves, they are a’ changing.” Here’s how the City helps you to get rid of them.

Did you know that you can dispose of leaves every week during your regularly scheduled trask pick up? You can put as many as 25 bags of leaves on your curb alongside your trash each week throughout the year.

But if bagging leaves doesn’t strike you as something fun to do (me either), you can take advantage of the City’s vacuum leaf collection over the coming months. Simply rake leaves to the edge of your property line (but not into the street). Please keep leaf piles less than 2-feet high. Don’t include rocks, metal, or branches in piles, as cleaning crews will ignore those. Call 311 or 804.646.LEAF for additional information.
