Talk20 is an ongoing series of gatherings of creative people showcasing what’s cool, interesting, and creative in Richmond. There are eight presenters and the only rule is that they have 20 slides and 20 seconds per slide to tell their creative story.
The next installment, talk20: 9th Edition, is set for October 22, from 6-8PM at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond (1812 West Main Street).
Presenters will be:
- Paolo Garbanzo, Juggler/Court Jester
- Mike Killelea, Brewer (Center of the Universe Brewing Company)
- Kyle Lucia, Blacksmith (Phoenix Handcraft)
- Candy Beers, Dance Therapist
- Abernathy Bland, Sculptor/Illustrator
- Dale Brumfield, Author/Publisher, Richmond Independent Press: A History of the Underground Zine Scene
- Richard Spece, Musician/Period Orchestra
- Tammy Hinkle, Trompe l’oeil Artist, U Neeek Walls
Event is FREE. Refreshment and cash bar featuring Thinking of You Creations desserts, Center of the Universe Brews and Broadbent Selections Wines will be available.
