Last year’s celebration of Julia Child’s 100th birthday was such a hit, we couldn’t wait to do it again.
And there we were, busy planning festivities for her 200th birthday (writing detailed notes for our great grandchildren and researching the logistics of making aspic on the moon) when it dawned on us – Julia Child would have had a birthday EVERY YEAR! We could do this EVERY YEAR!
To commemorate JC’s 101st birthday, Secco will feature a trio of dishes adapted from her recipes and a special WWJD? (What Would Julia Drink?) wine flight all week long. Better still, on her birthday proper (Thursday, 8/15), we’ll host a festive evening of Julia-approved eating and drinking in our event space, The Room at Secco.
