Broad Appétit took place on Sunday, and by all accounts it was another huge success! Not only did over 30,000 attend and sample some of the city’s best dishes from some of the city’s best chefs, but there were several awards handed out. Here’s a rundown:

  • People’s Choice Award: Lady N’awlins
  • Ambiance Award: Tio Pablo
  • Bon Secours’ Health Dish Award: Sticks Kebob Shop for its tabouleh served with hummus
  • Richmond Magazine’s “To Diet For” Dessert Dish Award: Culinard for its blueberry sorbet with crystallized ginger cake and yuzu foam; Runner-up: Syndigz for its chocolate salted caramel layer cake
  • Richmond Magazine’s “To Die For” Main Dish Award: Spoon for its seared day boat scallop with charred corn, bacon lardon, and tomato marmalade; Runner-up: Sticky Rice for its pork belly steam buns
