Too many feelings.

It was a vivid day in RVA.

Well, this certainly made our personal problems seem really small
Ellena McConnell, 19, writes about her life before and after adoption. At six, she was dumpster diving and raising her siblings. At 11, she finally found a permanent home where she felt safe, respected, cared for, and comfortable. Her story is so moving, we have been picking up pieces of our hearts ever since we first read it. National Adoption Awareness Month is really making an impact over here.

More feelings
These drone shots of RVA are, in a word, splentifullous. We made that word up because no existing ones could do them justice.

Yet more feelings
Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill will douse you in the following emotions: sympathy, horror, shame, guilt, anxiety, and just plain ol’ sorrow. We suggest you Go Do This.

An abundance of feelings
A candlelight vigil to remember those trans humans who lost their lives because some people are violent and cowardly assholes. We might as well just give up on life. Oh PS, did you know there is a thing called the War Store? Humans! Do you confuse “badass” with “effed up?”

At least there’s this!
Carverponics is just about the coolest thing we’ve heard of this week!. We totally want to re-enroll in high school a la 21 Jump Street, but like, for the strawberries.
