Duck Donuts opens newest location at West Broad Village in Short Pump

The Outer Banks chain continues its expansion into the area with its second Richmond location.

Outer Banks favorite Duck Donuts continues to waddle into the Richmond area with its second area storefront. The chain’s newest location opened this morning at 6:00 AM at West Broad Village in Short Pump.

The new store is located at 2437 Old Brick Road within the mixed-use development. The franchise originated in the village of Duck on the northern beaches of the Outer Banks and prides itself on warm, fresh, made to order donuts.

Duck Donuts opened its first Richmond store at Willow Lawn last year.

The donut chain has four locations on the Outer Banks (Corolla, Duck, Kill Devil Hills and Kitty Hawk) and later franchised its first two locations in Virginia Beach and Williamsburg, respectively, before entering the Richmond market.
