Woodland Heights is getting its very own WPA Bakery

Great news for lovers of the baked arts.

From RTD:

David Rohrer, co-owner of WPA Bakery, is opening a second location of the popular Church Hill bakery – this time in South Richmond at 3414 Semmes Ave., next door to the newly opened White Horse Tavern.

“We are busting at the seems in Church Hill,” Rohrer said. “Plus I live on 34th and definitely think it would be a great addition to our neighborhood. Also with White Horse opening, the ‘hood is definitely on the up swing.”

For those of you not familiar with WPA you should head up to Church Hill, 2707 East Marshall Street to be exact, and check it out because you won’t be getting any baked goods from this Southside location until early 2016.

This is all I’ve ever wanted out of life (the “baked goods in my neighborhood” category of life).
