Steve Harvey takes over Carytown with Segway fleet

Spotted yesterday outside of Chop Suey Books.

WTVR CBS6 is going to great lengths to make sure you know Steve Harvey is now on weekdays at 4:00 PM. I spotted an ad truck toting a larger-than-life version of the popular talk show host past my office in the Fan yesterday.

And now this–a fleet of Steve Harvey Segways were spotted outside of Chop Suey Books in Carytown. Just a tad creepy, no?

Either way, looks like their marketing plan worked.

I’m disappointed. I saw one of these yesterday oh-so-briefly and thought someone was just running around with a Steve Harvey poster on a Segway for fun.

  2. I’m confused. How did the marketing plan work? Because RVA News picked it up? I smell “partnership”.
