Barrel Thief hosting ‘Oysters and Muscadet’ night tonight, and it’s for a good cause

Enjoy oysters and wine, and support a worthy cause–everyone wins.

If you’re into oysters and wine of the Muscadet variety, you’re in luck. Barrel Thief is hosting a special event, ‘Oysters and Muscadet,’ this evening. Best of all, it’s all for a good cause.

From the news release:

This Thursday, November 6, join us for one of our favorite annual events: Oysters and Muscadet! We will have six Muscadets to try including three vintages of a special cuvee from Domaine du Coing (2000, 1999, 1996).

The tasting is $5, and fresh shucked oysters will be available to enjoy with your wine (6 for $10, 12 for $18, 24 for $30).

As an added bonus, your attendance and the sales at this event will help support our long time dear friends Debbie and James Haynie, whose daughter Jennifer was recently diagnosed with a rare uncurable blood disease called Amyloidosis.

Come support a good cause while enjoying the most beautiful of food and wine pairings: Oysters and Muscadet!

Barrel Thief is located at 5805 Patterson Avenue.
