A really interesting art exhibit is in the works. The Commonwealth Eye Care Associates are inviting blind and visually-impaired artists from the Richmond region to submit their work for the first Insight art exhibit. From the release:

The CECA Insight Art Exhibit will celebrate the artistic achievements of blind and visually impaired artists who are inspired to create a visual realm, focusing on their artistic abilities and talents rather than their disabilities. The exhibit will educate the public about eye diseases, visual impairment and vision rehabilitation.

Submissions will be accepted through June 1st. Selected artwork will be displayed from August 2nd through August 16th. Here’s information on how to submit art.
