‘Book of Mormon’ tickets on sale Friday

The Tony Award-winning play comes to Richmond in November.

The Book of Mormon — winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical — will be at the Altria Theater November 4th – 9th. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10:00 AM, and are available at the CenterStage Box Office,1 online, or by calling 1.800.514.3849.

Called the “best musical of this century” by The New York Times, The Book of Mormon comes from the creators of South Park. Among the nine Tony Awards the musical won in 2011: Best Musical, Best Score, Best Direction, and Best Orchestrations.

    It’s an awesome show and worth seeing, but definitely not for kids! If they’re not ready for South Park, they’re not ready for Book of Mormon.
