So long, RVA!
No, you’re not being deceived, snow is back in the forecast. The National Weather Service has posted a winter weather advisory for the immediate metro area, including Chesterfield and Henrico Counties and the City of Richmond, from 4:00 AM through noon Monday.
After last week’s snow and severe weather, we’re greeted with much milder conditions to start this week.
The National Weather Service has issued a TORNADO WATCH until 8pm for pretty much all of eastern Virginia from the Blue Ridge Mountains eastward to the Atlantic south of northern Virginia.
What little snow that remains isn’t going to stick around much longer; temperatures are headed into the 70s(!) on Thursday and Friday. More winter-like (at least for the winter of 2011-12) return by the weekend.
If you’re a fan of the snow, your joy is going to be short-lived. Temperatures are going to be back in the 60s by Wednesday!

After we get through the rain today, Friday and Saturday look like some pretty nice mid-February days. After that, there’s still lots of questions.
Clearing skies and mild temperatures return for the first half of the week.
