Murder in 9th Street Apartment
Occurred last night around 10:10 pm. Victim was in his 50s.
News this morning from RTD of a homicide in Manchester.
Richmond police Lt. Tim Wyatt said officers were called about 10:10 p.m. for a report of multiple shots fired on West 9th Street, near the intersection of West Commerce Road and Porter Street.
The incident occurred at an apartment complex on 9th Street, police said. The victim, described as a male in his mid-50s, died on the scene.
Authorities said there appeared to be no additional threat to the neighborhood. No arrest had been made.
Detectives were working today to notify relatives of the victim and develop suspect information.
