Kroger has launched a new Holiday Gift Card program: Quadruple fuel points for every dollar spent on gift cards with a Kroger Plus Shopper’s Card between November 21 and December 11. There is no minimum purchase requirement, and no cap to the amount of rewards

Black Friday deals at MARTIN’S: This Friday and Saturday receive double fuelperks! rewards points on gift card purchases, in addition to markdowns on several kitchen items.

Target is actually my top pick for prices on holiday staples this week:

• $1.50 Gold Medal 5-lb all-purpose flour
• $.89 12-oz Carnation evaporated milk ($.50 off 2 in 11/14 RedPlum)
• $1.29 15-oz Libby canned pumpkin
• $.50 Campbell’s condensed cream of mushroom soup
• $.50 Swanson chicken broth
• $.45 Del Monte canned vegetables
• $.99 1-doz eggs
• $.79 Heinz gravy
• $.79 Betty Crocker boxed potatoes ($.50 off 2 in 11/14 General Mills insert)
• $.79 Stove Top stuffing (Print Target coupon for $.75 off 2, and manufacturer’s coupon for $1 off 2)

Revisiting turkey prices — frozen turkeys $.29/lb at MARTIN’S and Kroger, with a $25 minimum purchase (limit 1). If you like your turkeys fresh, MARTIN’S and Tom Leonard’s both had them for $.99/lb

Celery $.89/bunch at Kroger, or organic celery $1 (Yams are still $.49/lb at Kroger or MARTIN’S)

Fruit Top Pick

5-lb box Clementines $3.99 at MARTIN’S

The 11/7 RedPlum had a coupon for $.75 off Sara Lee (With 2 coupons, you could get 2 pies and 1 whipped topping for $3.50 total). Fresh Ukrop’s pies $6.99 at MARTIN’S; pair with Turkey Hill ice cream for $1.99.
