For our 2016 Fitness Guide, we wanted to break down some nutrition information for our readers—why it’s so important to consider your whole body (and not just your calorie count), how to get started, and how to stick with it. So I sat down with Tina Shiver, registered dietitian who has been practicing in Richmond for more than 20 years. She is chock full of scientific knowledge, encouraging advice, and insight on the past, present, and future of how humans nourish their bodies.
